Allied Stores Corp. reported a net loss of $18.3 million for the third quarter, compared to a loss of $55.9 million last year. Revenue was $706.2 million, compared to $858.7 million last year. The Cincinnati-based retail company said that as a result of the change in the company’s fiscal year end, the disposition of a significant number of operating subsidiaries and real estate properties throughout the fiscal year and the sale of Brooks Bros., the results of operations are generally not comparable between this year and last year.
