Poisoning Trees in Palos Verdes
We, of course, should cut all the tall and short trees. Change our name to Sahara--this will give our children plenty of sand for their little sandboxes.
Then we still would have plenty of sand left over to make cement to cover any green spots that might show and spoil it for us by getting those gritty little pieces into our shoes or on our toes.
So down with trees, down with Joyce Kilmer, who said, “Only God can make a tree.” But I say, “Only man can make a desert.”
