Grace Community 44, Oakwood 41--Scott Lechuga scored 27 points, including a 12-foot jump shot with 20 seconds left to lead the Hawks’ upset over the defending Southern Section Small Schools champion in the final of the Buckley tournament.

UCLA-bound Mitchell Butler missed a chance to tie the score when his 3-point shot bounced off the rim as time expired. Butler led Oakwood (3-1) with 26 points and 23 rebounds.

After John Mark’s layup gave the Gorillas a 39-36 lead, Grace Community (4-0) responded with 6 consecutive points, taking a 42-39 advantage with a minute left.
