New Contract for Huntington Beach Teachers
- Share via
Dr. Diana Peters, superintendent of the Huntington Beach City School District, should be given a full vote of confidence for her conscientious leadership of the district.
The school board must be fiscally responsible. Board members must manage the funds they have for the benefit of the teachers and students. An impartial fact-finder reviewed the facts as presented by the school board and the teachers association and stated that the school board had made the best offer possible to the teachers. The teachers accepted this offer, signed the contract, and now it is time for them to return to their leadership roles in the classroom.
As a property owner in Huntington Beach, I am proud of the many awards and fine record being made by the schools in this city.
