Time Writer to Work for Quayle

WASHINGTON — Veteran Time magazine correspondent David Beckwith will be named press secretary to Vice President-elect Dan Quayle, sources close to President-elect George Bush said today. Beckwith, 46, who also is a lawyer, has been senior correspondent for the magazine for 15 years, most recently as its White House correspondent.
