Abortion
In his letter (Nov. 30), Erik Mortenson commits a serious error of logic when he states that President-elect George Bush’s victory “indicates that the majority of Americans favor that position (anti-abortion).” Voters don’t have line-item veto powers and must vote for the whole man. It’s impossible to know from the vote where voters are on any one position.
