Mayor Fred Hunter probably won’t leave another briefcase sitting beside his car again anytime soon.
Hunter reported to police in Fresno that he accidentally left his briefcase next to his car while he visited a brother Friday night.
When he came back several hours later, the briefcase was gone, along with $600 in cash, credit cards and an Anaheim police badge, Fresno police said.
