H.J. Heinz Co.’s second-quarter net income advanced 15% from last year to $110 million. Sales increased to $1.4 billion, up 12%. The Pittsburgh food processing firm said the results were due in part to strong volume increases for tuna, food service ketchup, frozen potatoes and Weight Watchers food products and meetings.
