Are the Dodgers trying to teach Steve Sax and their players a lesson by letting him get away to the Yankees in 1989?
Remember the lesson they taught Tim Raines and the L.A. fans in 1987 by not signing him, saying the Dodgers already had a center fielder, Ken Landreaux. In 115 games, Landreaux hit .203 with 6 home runs and 23 RBIs.
