After reading Nancy Reagan’s parting shots (“First Lady Takes Aim at President’s Staff,” Part I, Nov. 13) I feel sorry for the things she will miss when she moves back to California.
She will miss her Washington friends (socialites) and more important “I will miss Air Force One, from what I hear about air travel.” Hint for the Reagans friends, those who have given them a new house. Please consider a new aircraft as a surprise gift for Christmas.
Item in the Real Estate section, same day--a picture of (former First Lady) Rosalynn Carter working for the homeless.
Maybe to avoid air travel Mrs. Reagan should consider taking the RTD from Bel-Air to Skid Row.
