Corporate Data Subsidiary to Expand Its Iowa Facility

Corporate Data Sciences Inc. of Manhattan Beach said its 90%-owned Consolidated Packaging Corp. will enlarge the capacity of a Ft. Madison, Iowa, plant that makes a chemical used in the production of corrugated paper packaging.
The $15-million project will boost annual capacity at the plant by 30% to about 100,000 tons of “semi-chemical medium” from the current 75,000 tons.
Construction is expected to be completed in 18 months, Corporate Data said.
