Orange Coast, Cypress Play Host to Tournaments

Two community college basketball tournaments being hosted by Orange County teams start today.
The Orange Coast men’s team plays host to the Miles Eaton tournament. The Cypress women’s team plays host to the Lady Charger tournament.
In the first round of the Miles Eaton tournament: Santa Barbara plays East Los Angeles at 2 p.m., Imperial Valley plays Mt. San Antonio at 4, Orange Coast plays MiraCosta at 6 and Mt. San Jacinto plays Long Beach at 8.
The tournament continues Friday, and the championship is Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
In the Cypress tournament:
Mt. San Antonio plays Ventura at 2 p.m., Grossmont plays Ohlone at 4, Cypress plays MiraCosta at 6 and Orange Coast plays Moorpark at 8.
