The undergraduate library at UC San Diego is being renamed in honor of John S. Galbraith, UCSD chancellor from 1964 to 1968. The move was approved this month by the UC Board of Regents.
The building is on the south side of Revelle Plaza, named for Roger Revelle--another UCSD pioneer--and houses the departments of theater and philosophy, campus counseling and the undergraduate library.
