Kings Travel to Calgary to Play Flames

The Kings, with the second-best record in the National Hockey League, will play tonight at Calgary against the Flames, who have the best record. The Kings’ record of 15-7 would lead any other division, but in the Smythe Division, they trail the Flames (15-4-3).
The Kings, who have won the first 2 games of their 4-game trip, already have played the Flames twice this season, having won at the Forum, 6-5, in overtime, and lost at Calgary, 11-4.
On Friday, the Kings traded left winger Paul Fenton to the Winnipeg Jets for left winger Gilles Hamel. Hamel, a 9-year veteran, has spent most of this season with Moncton (Canada) in the American Hockey League. Fenton had 2 goals and 3 assists in 21 games with the Kings this season.
Tonight’s game begins at 5 p.m. and will be televised by Prime Ticket. It also will be broadcast on KGIL (1260) live and on KPZE (1190) delayed at 10 p.m.
