North Hollywood 27, Poly 7--Michael Goldsmith rushed for 165 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Tim Sutton added 149 yards and 2 scores in 8 carries at North Hollywood (4-4, 4-2) to keep the Huskies tied with for first place in the league with Sylmar.
The Huskies’ defense opened the scoring midway through the first quarter when Fernando Godoy and Mike Kelley trapped running back Jonathan Campbell in the end zone for a safety.
North Hollywood then drove 60 yards in 3 plays for its first touchdown--Sutton’s 55 yard run.
Poly (2-7, 0-6) gained 218 yards but had 3 turnovers.
