The wife of a Lodi city councilman who was assaulted near a Mission Valley restaurant last month was discharged from UC San Diego Medical Center on Thursday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Marjorie Reid, 62, who was in a coma only two weeks ago, was walking and reportedly in good condition when she left the hospital. She was flown to the UC Davis rehabilitation center to continue recovering from the head, hip and knee injuries she suffered Oct. 16. Police spokesman Bill Robinson said that detectives have some good leads but that no arrests have been made.
