American Airlines announced that it will significantly expand its European route system in 1989 by introducing daily service between the United States and Brussels; Stockholm; Lyon, France, and Hamburg, West Germany. The expansion will increase American’s operations in Europe to a total of 119 flights a week serving 13 destinations.
