Seattle Seahawks cornerback Patrick Hunter remained in satisfactory condition in a Kirkland, Wash., hospital after suffering a lacerated kidney in a car accident.
A hospital spokesman said Hunter was making progress, but Coach Chuck Knox said he did not know whether Hunter would play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
Hunter, who was cited for negligent driving by police, was injured when his car failed to negotiate a corner in Kirkland and rolled down a 30-foot embankment.
