A 21-year-old Tujunga woman was in custody Tuesday on suspicion of fatally stabbing her boyfriend during an argument, Los Angeles police said.
Sherilyn Teresa Dyer was arrested Monday in the slaying of Michael Schuster, 19, also of Tujunga, said Sgt. Dennis Pelch of the Foothill Division. Dyer is being held without bail at the Van Nuys Jail, he said.
Police were called to an apartment in the 10000 block of Tujunga Canyon Road about 6 p.m. Monday, Pelch said. Inside, they found Dyer and Schuster, who had been stabbed once in the chest, he said. Schuster was taken to Verdugo Hills Hospital, where he died a short time later, Pelch said.
Dyer was arrested at the scene, he said.
