Country singer-songwriter Waylon Jennings underwent two procedures to clear a blood clot from an artery while hospitalized in Orange County, a spokeswoman said Sunday. According to a statement released by Jennings’ office, the singer returned to Nashville Friday pronounced fit after two seperate procedures: first, medication was given to help dissolve the clot, then a procedure using a balloon to surgically push out the clot. Jenniungs will resume his concert schedule Nov. 6 in Mobile, Ala. In the meantime, the singer plans to rest up at home. Jennings was taken to a hospital in Tustin Monday night after complaining of weakness and shortness of breath between shows at the Crazy Horse Steak House in Santa Ana.
