There has been simulated sadomasochism and plenty of female flesh wrapped in bikinis in music videos, but apparently MTV draws the line at . . . dead chickens. A National Lampoon commercial in which a woman calling herself the “happy housewife†chops up a dead chicken has been pulled from the MTV network because of “dozens†of viewer complaints about the spot’s “poor taste,†a National Lampoon official said Sunday. “I can’t believe MTV is being so responsive to a handful of morons,†said National Lampoon editor-in-chief Matty Simmons. (Officials from MTV were not available for comment Sunday.)
