A 15-year-old boy was found hanging in his bedroom a few hours after he watched an episode of “21 Jump Street” about a teen-age suicide, coroner’s officials said in San Francisco. Michael Yee’s mother told investigators that her son did not talk about the program or appear upset by it. She said she awoke a couple of hours later and, noticing his bedroom light on, found him sitting down and facing a chest of drawers with a belt around his neck tied to a knob on the top drawer. She and school officials told investigators that they knew of no reason why the boy took his life. They said he had no prior suicide attempts and had not seemed depressed. Yee was a pole vaulter on his school’s track team.
