Laura Bradbury Is Still Missing

I am writing this with tears in my eyes. I just read your article (Oct. 17) about the 4-year anniversary of Laura Bradbury’s kidnaping. I want to thank you for remembering Laura and her family and for reminding the public that Laura is still missing.
I have been thinking about Laura a lot recently. She is now 7 years old (the same age as my daughter), and she has been missing for half of her life. As Oct. 18 grew nearer I was hoping to see some press coverage of Laura. For it is the press who keeps Laura’s little face fresh in our memories. And by remembering that Laura is still out there somewhere, we can help to find her.
Thank you, Los Angeles Times, for caring. And for reminding us that Laura is missing no less today than she was 4 years ago.
