Originates Santa Fe Dam (San Gabriel Valley off Arrow Highway) through Whittier Narrows to Seal Beach. Follows San Gabriel River. Trail actually extends 2 miles north above the dam. Popular for picnicking. Heavy bike traffic. No car traffic. Night riding prohibited. Watch for broken glass along channel after storms. Snack bars, water fountains, restrooms near Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area and additional water/snacks at many highway crossings.
