CIMCO Inc. said it has entered into a joint business venture with Nagase Co. Ltd, a $3.8-billion Japanese trading company. Under the agreement, Nagase will solicit business for CIMCO from subsidiaries and affiliates of Japanese companies operating in the United States.
CIMCO, a Costa Mesa manufacturer of thermoplastic parts, said it has raised $8 million through a debt offering to finance its expansion drive. Currently, the company supplies about 100 manufacturers in the transportation, electronics and health care industries.
