Cynthia Lennon proclaimed solidarity with her late husband’s second wife, Yoko Ono, and condemned Sunday the controversial biography of John Lennon, written by former rock critic Albert Goldman. “People who write books like this, it is for greed, and as far as I’m concerned, they’re gravediggers, no more, no less,” Cynthia Lennon said on CBS’s “60 Minutes.” “Grave robbers, body snatchers, you name it, they are it. . . . All I know and all the people that love John know that we had our years (and) that nobody, no film, no book will ever complete what went on in our lives,” she said. Ono has already said the Goldman book was “slander” and “totally false.”
