Scuba Divers

It has been my experience that scuba divers, as a group, are circumspect, considerate and responsible.
Although Laguna Beach residents may find the noise made by divers irritating (“In Hot Water,” Sept. 19), those residents might do well to view the hiss of air tanks as reassurance that recreational, and harmless, divers are stirring in the streets.
Some people in Orange County are awakened at night by the sound of gunshots.
