High School Top 10 : Oceanside Steps Up One to Top Spot

SAN DIEGO — Oceanside, off to its best start since 1975, has taken over the No. 1 ranking in the Times San Diego County high school football Top 10.
Oceanside (3-0) defeated Capistrano Valley, 15-13, last Friday to take over the No. 1 spot from Morse, which beat Vista, 13-0, Saturday but fell to No. 2.
Rancho Buena Vista, which meets Oceanside in three weeks, is still ranked third.
El Camino and Carlsbad are also ranked, giving the Avocado League four Top 10 teams.
