Local News in Brief : Victims Found in Car Wreck Identified
The California Highway Patrol has identified three men who were killed over the weekend when a sports car plummeted more than 400 feet down a canyon on the Angeles Crest Highway.
The men were identified as Peter Regina, 18, and Michael Conway, 18, both of Arcadia, and Michael Edwards, 25, of El Monte. Investigators said the Nissan 300ZX went off the highway Saturday about 10 miles west of Wrightwood. Investigators said the car was traveling at high speed when it missed a curve and flipped end over end down the canyon.
