In the arts: Robert Townsend, director and star of the movie “Hollywood Shuffle,” will appear at Cal State Fullerton’s Titan Hall at 8 and 10 p.m. Friday. “Hollywood Shuffle” will screen at the school twice Thursday night.
Jazz fans can hear singer Diane Schuur with the Count Basie Orchestra on Thursday at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa. Vocalist Bobby McFerrin will perform Friday at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
