RIGHTS THERE

The L.A. Coliseum stop on the “Human Rights Now!” tour pulled a high profile of celebrities, near-celebs and wannabees out of their usual orbits Wednesday night. Among those spotted munching on sandwiches and chili and sipping Evian water backstage or at the Reebok/HBO hospitality tents: Richard Gere, Laker Coach Pat Riley, River Phoenix, Telly Savalas, Beau Bridges, Catherine Oxenberg, Billy Dee Williams, Margot Kidder, Louie Anderson, Steven Bauer, Helen Mirren and “thirtysomething’s” Peter Horton. Also seen were Debra Winger (who supplied one of the voices for the animated featurette shown during one of the show’s breaks) with her most recent director, Costa-Gavras.
