Texas Air Corp., which owns half of Bar Harbor Airways, has agreed to buy the remaining 50% of the commuter carrier. Allyn J. Caruso, Bar Harbor president and son of the airline’s co-founder, expects to complete the sale within a few days, said Stephen Mason, airline sales director. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bar Harbor, which operates in the Northeast and in Florida as Eastern Express and Continental Express, carried 1.4 million passengers last year, placing it among the nation’s five largest commuter airlines, Mason said.
