The San Diego Sockers signed 31-year-old Alan Willey, a 5-foot 11-inch, 180-pound forward who played last season with the Minnesota Strikers. The Strikers folded after the MISL season.

Socker President Ron Cady talked with Branko Segota and said the team and Segota have not yet come to terms. Cady said he will talk with Segota by phone again today.
