Allan B. Foy, 59, president and chief executive of Farr Co., has been elected to the additional post of chairman. He succeeds Richard S. Farr, a co-founder of the company, who died last month after a long illness. M. Spencer Farr, the other co-founder, remains as vice chairman and secretary. Richard L. Farr, a vice president of Farr and son of the late co-founder, has been elected a director. Farr Co. produces filters for particulate, liquid and gaseous filtration systems.
