Ford Aerospace Plans Joint Bid With Perceptronics

Ford Aerospace Corp. said it has teamed up with Perceptronics in Woodland Hills to bid on an Army contract. Perceptronics makes simulators used by troops who operate tanks, armored vehicles and helicopters.
Ford and Perceptronics plan to bid for the multimillion-dollar Close Combat Tactical Trainer program, which involves approximately 550 M-1 and 1,600 M-2 tank simulators.
