Irvine Team Wins Cycling Challenge

The Schwinn Paramount Team of Irvine won the professional division of the AT&T; Four-Man Corporate Cycling Challenge Saturday at Irvine.

Glen Baldwin, Tom Blackley, Donny Carroll and Geof Doyle defeated 224 other corporate teams in a time trial contested on a 12.5-mile course. Another team from Schwinn finished second and Hot Issues, from Montgomery Securities, was third.

Bar One, from Bracken, Arrigoni & Ross Inc., won the women’s division.
