Tishman West Cos., a Los Angeles-based real estate firm that manages more than 20 million square feet of space across the nation, has shuffled its top management as part of an effort to expand in domestic and international markets.
Perry Herst, formerly president of the company, has been named chairman and remains chief executive. Alan Levy, formerly executive vice president, is now president and will remain chief operating officer. New executive vice president is Harvey Mahler, formerly senior vice president.
Tishman West Cos. is a joint venture formed about two months ago between Tishman West Management Corp. and Chicago-based real estate conglomerate Balcor Co. Herst will focus on new acquisitions and development in domestic markets and Levy will oversee operations and expansion in national and international markets.
