Hairston Sparks Faith Baptist, 33-8

Faith Baptist quarterback David Hairston threw for a touchdown and ran for another as the Contenders whipped Rio Hondo Prep, 33-8, in a nonleague 8-man game at Rio Hondo Prep in Arcadia.
Hairston passed for 97 yards and ran for 71 of the Contenders’ 183 rushing yards.
Faith Baptist tailback Peter Lutz added touchdowns on runs of four and two yards.
Derek Gaines added 50 yards in 14 carries for Faith Baptist. Cole Barrett led Rio Hondo in rushing with 81 yards in 7 carries.
