An Escondido man died early Sunday morning from injuries suffered when the car in which he was riding collided with another vehicle at 1:41 a.m. at San Pasqual Valley Road and Oak Hill Drive in Escondido, police said.
Scot James Blythe, 21, died of multiple trauma when the car rolled after the crash. The driver of that car, Moses Quiros, was in critical condition at Palomar Medical Center, said Escondido police spokesman Paul Bebo.
The other driver, Frederick Goossens, was uninjured. Police are investigating.
