A weekly look at office and industrial real estate in the county. : FOCUS: MAINPLACE/SANTA ANA
MainPlace is a new incarnation of Fashion Square, which was Orange County’s second shopping center when it opened in 1958. Eventually, the 35-store mall had a hard time competing with newer, larger centers. The $90-million transformation into MainPlace was completed last fall. The center doubled in size and added Nordstrom as a tenant.
