Victor Laidlaw has been appointed vice president of construction for the Newport Beach division of Koll Construction Co. He succeeds Dennis Allison, who left the company. Laidlaw will be responsible for all construction management and general contracting operations for the division, which generates about $150 million in annual volume. Before joining Koll, Laidlaw was executive vice president of construction for the Moran Co. in Alhambra. Koll Construction, a subsidiary of the Koll Co., provides services for commercial and industrial projects to eight regional markets on the West Coast.
