Cornerback Terry Taylor of the Seattle Seahawks was suspended for 30 days by the National Football League for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
Taylor, 27, is a five-year veteran who was Seattle’s first-round draft choice from Southern Illinois in 1984. He has been a starter for the last three seasons.
Meanwhile, starting defensive end Jeff Bryant ended his 41-day holdout and practiced with the Seahawks. The Morning News Tribune of Tacoma reported that Bryant will earn about $1.2 million over two years.
