Teachers from two more Pennsylvania school districts walked off the job, joining striking teachers in other parts of the state and in Michigan, union officials said. Michigan’s only school strike entered its third day in Stockbridge, while walkout threats loomed at two state universities. No talks were scheduled in Stockbridge until Friday. The district serves 1,893 students. In Pennsylvania, teachers in the West Shore and Forest Hills school districts in Cumberland and Cambria counties joined striking teachers in the Mechanicsburg and Moshannon Valley school districts who walked off the job Tuesday. The West Shore strike affects 7,500 students while the Forest Hills action affects 2,700.
