About half the tickets to Olympic sporting events in Seoul remain unsold less than three weeks before the Games begin, according to the organizers.
However, nearly 1 million people applied for the 20,000 tickets to the opening ceremony and a lottery decided who could buy them.
The most popular sporting event is judo, with 91% of the 41,867 tickets put on sale in South Korea already sold.
