Republican Convention

As I viewed the Republican convention I couldn’t help but notice that several of the stalwarts of the “grand old party” were conspicuous by their absence.
Among those not invited were Edwin Meese, Oliver North, John Poindexter, Richard Secord, Robert McFarlane, Max Hugel, Michael Deaver, Lyn Nofziger and Nancy Reagan’s astrologer.
Perhaps these individuals are remnants of the “Reagan Revolution” that the Republican National Committee hierarchy felt were better off hidden behind the “bush.”
