Vista Man Killed When Pickup Truck Flips

A 33-year-old man was killed Sunday when he lost control of his pickup truck on California 78 in Vista.
Evaristo Alba-Moreno of Vista was dead at the scene just east of the Vista Way overpass, according to Kim Hastings, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman.
Alba-Moreno was westbound just after 5 a.m. on the highway when his pickup drifted onto the right shoulder, Hastings said. When he tried to pull back onto the road, he lost control and crossed the center divider, which flipped the truck, throwing Alba-Moreno from the vehicle, she said.
