Bush, Quayle and GOP Convention

During the Vietnam War, there were hawks, and there were doves. Today, there are hawks and there are doves.
But it is difficult to see how either hawk or dove can applaud a man who today acts the hawk, but when the time came to put his body where his mouth was, joined the National Guard to escape the trauma of being drafted into the forces doing the fighting.
I think that the Republican candidate for vice president (aptly named Quayle) is a hawk with the feet of a chicken.
