Greenberg delights in charnel-house images; fetus killers in their lairs made safe by the court from both justice and the wrath of the righteous. His bloody appeal to the emotions sidetracks the real issue, which is the rule of law and our tradition of freedoms and rights.
The so-called pro-life movement is eager to cut down any law in pursuit of the devil. Its followers don’t worry about the time when the devil turns and there is no protection since the laws have been leveled. They mean to create a legal barricade around themselves and their causes only.
The rest of us, they’ll strip naked. But only if we let them.
