It was one year ago Tuesday that Northwest Airlines Flight 255, bound for Phoenix and then John Wayne Airport, crashed on a Detroit highway moments after takeoff. All but one of 153 passengers and crew members were killed. Seven were Orange County residents and four others were bound for the county.
