BEIJING — China will sponsor a tour beginning next month that will follow the life travels of Pu Yi, the tragic figure who was the subject of Bernardo Bertolucci’s award-winning film “The Last Emperor,” it was reported today.
The tour will include his birthplace and childhood home in the Forbidden City, the house in Tianjin where he lived in exile and the prison in Changchun, northeast China, where he was held after the 1949 Communist takeover, New China News Agency said.
